    What I liked:

“Loved the theme and decor, the roof bar was incredible and the location second to none. Perfect for strolls to the Forbidden City and the local environs was very 'Beijing' with hutongs on your doorstep. Staff very friendly and helpful.”

What the hotel could do better:

“Breakfast was terrible and overall the hotel was very hip but at the same time a little unsure of itself. I would stay again but would not recommend eating at the hotel.”

    What I liked:

“nice designed, big rooms, location next to forbidden city, that's all;-(”

What the hotel could do better:

“poor service, nothing to do with 5* hotels in Beijing, unprofessional, nice but without experience and even language skills. very chinese hotel just with nice modern rooms, seems to be empty, no live, bar, restaurants empty, spa at 9.00 was closed, even i can't call it spa, room with a massage bad, hotel making overall impression to be service apartment”

    What I liked:

“without a doubt, the view of the forbidden city from the emperor's roofdeck is priceless. awesome can be overused as a description, but in this case, it's apt. there is also a school next door, and the sight of the schoolchildren in an old temple that was converted for modern use is quite charming, and an authentic peek at daily beijing life. the design of the room is fab, fab, fab plus lots of seating area, nice magazines in the room, free mini bar drinks. staff are friendly and fluent in english.”

What the hotel could do better:

“christmas decor was quite tacky. breakfast choices are a bit limited. and the bathroom's shower doesn't drain properly so the bathroom ends up all wet after one showers.”
