    What I liked:

“The rooms are well appointed, clean and very, very quiet! The hosts are friendly and helpful. The location is terrific, within easy walking distance of the metro. If you arrive by car, the parking garage across the street is secure and not too expensive 15 euros for 24 hours - or you can purchase a street parking pass from the front desk for 4 euros!

We were travelling with our two children, age 5 and 3, they loved riding the "old fashioned" elevator to the main entrance of the hotel.

We plan to stay here again.

(Great sushi restaurant in the ground floor of the building.)”

What the hotel could do better:

“I felt very comfortable in this hotel. The room (#1) was well decorated, and spacious. In addition to this the manager was pleasant and charmingly gregarious.”

    What I liked:

“The people who run this hotel are very nice. My room had a nice view overlooking the courtyard and was plenty spacious and very clean. The price was right and the honor bar was a nice feature. It is located in a nice neighborhood - not close to any of the tourist must-see's, but it does give a more genuine exposure to Berlin than staying in a big chain hotel. Free wi-fi is a plus.”

What the hotel could do better:

“This is really more of a B&B than a hotel and there is not a huge amount of privacy. My room was in the main entry, so I heard people coming and going most hours of the day and when I stepped out of my room I was right there at the check in area. While there are nice prints on the walls in the rooms, the furniture is very old and rickety and the tv was an ancient box with rabbit ears. For under $200 it is a good value - just don't expect the perks and anonymity of a larger hotel.”

    What I liked:

“I loved the mixture of modern, old and quirky decor, art work and furnishings around the hotel and in the room. The place was spotlessly clean and the hosts and staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was like staying with friends. It will be a definite place to refurn for me when next in Berlin.”

What the hotel could do better:

    “Nothing.”
