    What I liked:

“Stepped balconies overlooking the Adriatic that allowed for absolute privacy. Excellent buffet breakfast that covered every food group imaginable.

Concierge services that were above and beyond helpful.

Staff that truly seemed happy to be there.

    Outstanding room service.

A good attempt at sushi in the new restaurant since we were tired of "dalmatian" cuisine”

What the hotel could do better:

“Lobby furniture was a bit "stiff"...a tiny step away from being perfect if only they changed up the chairs.”

    What I liked:

“We liked the view on the sea which was really impressive as well as the sunsets.

The hotel is far from the city center but the bus line n°4 stops in the parking of the hotel and goes directly to Dubrovnik city center. In spite of a car that we rented, bus was by far a better option to move there.”

What the hotel could do better:

“My wife and I were expecting a charming hotel in front of the sea but the hotel was an impersonal-300 rooms-5 restaurants hotel with a continuous flow of tourist buses.

The room, though recently renovated was not at the 5* level (we were in one of the executive suites).

The breakfast restaurant was indoor and in spite of few tables outdoors and the presence of the sun in the middle of may, the staff did not want us to sit outside.

Lastly, the facilities (swimming pool and beach area in particular) were everything but charming.”

    What I liked:

“The hotel does try and be "modern and stark" and that can also be the downfall of it. While the views are incredible, the water is crystal clear, the swimming is out of this world, the rest of the hotel is quite generic, large and character-less. Of course amazing view from your room, decent service and friendly staff makes up for the faceless rooms that are more suited for a business conference. There is free wireless, which we love and did I mention the views? The place also seems recently renovated.”

What the hotel could do better:

“The hallways leading up to the rooms and even the rooms feel a bit like a cruise ship, carved on the side of a mountain. Not that I've ever been on a cruise ship or wish that on anyone but hey - the rooms are small, albeit comfortable and functional. The big test for me is "will I go back" and the answer is YES - and its simply because of what nature put there. Amazing.”
