    What I liked:

“I stayed in this hotel for a large international fair. The fact that the hotel laid on a complimentary shuttle bus to and from the exhibition centre, and supplied guests with complimentary bottles of the water for the journey more than justified the price we paid.”

What the hotel could do better:

    “Had a very pleasant stay!”

    What I liked:

“I stayed at the Kempinski Hotel Gravenbruch for a short private business trip to Frankfurt. The hotel is very accomodating to both business conferences & vacationers. If you are not German speaking there are many English speakers from all over the world staying here. The service in all areas was outstanding The spa was enjoyable & clean. The restaurants were a true delight to experience. If on a budget, it is worth the economy room to indulge in the other aspects of this hotel. It was great to be away from Frankfurt, yet still be close enough to get into the city by taking a bus & s-bahn for a short distance… or a taxi... then come back for a swim & a delicious meal.”

What the hotel could do better:

“My room was clean & comfortable, yet in need of a renovation. It was a small room, an "economy room", which was just fine for one person.

Little things, however, were of irritation: The bathroom light buzzed for a half an hour every time you turned on & off... there were dirty fingerprints on the bathroom ceiling, the radio switch didn't work... and the decor was unattractive... not suiting for a hotel of this stature. From a reliable source that lives locally... it is a five star hotel in need of some serious renovation... I think they have already started the renovation in other rooms.”

    What I liked:

“Location: While only 15 min. away from Frankfurt airport, felt far removed from the stress of business travel. The lake, the woods, quiet atmosphere was wonderful.

Staff: Helpful at every turn. Each person I encountered seemed to be trying to ensure I enjoyed my stay.”

What the hotel could do better:

“For all the great views and the location of the hotel, the breakfast area was relegated to the center of the building, with view outside and too many tables and chairs for the space, making for a somewhat "crampped" feeling.

Fitness room location was great, but it lacked free weights / equipment for streangth training.

Room facilities, baths / toilets / sinks, are starting to show their age. Not detrimental to the comfort, yet.”

    What I liked:

    “Service was good...”

What the hotel could do better:

“The bath water was full of large pieces of grit/iron and heavily red coloured? Called front desk and they said to run water for 10 minutes, if still had problem would chg our room...ran water, no improvement..left black/red residue all over tub, which I had to clean...never got a bath as I didn't want to take a dirty bath...Was midnight so just went to bed...will never stay again.”
