What I liked:
“The design aesthetic of the hotel was fantastic... hip and trendy with cool modern furniture and it felt small enough to be your very own hotel.”
What the hotel could do better:
“The smoking. The initial room that the hotel checked me into absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke to the point where my eyes were watering. I requested a non-smoking room (which seemed to puzzle the employee) and was given a different room that was smoke free. However, at various points during my stay when I was in my room the overpowering odor of cigarette smoke would make its way into my room from the hallway. It was really overpowering and unfortunately caused me to lose my appreciation for all the things I loved about this little hotel. I think I would like to stay again, but I think they need to do a better job of sealing off smoking vs non-smoking areas. I realize that Geneva doesn't yet have indoor smoking restrictions and this may all be a moot point in the future, but for now it had a meaningful impact on my vacation.”
