What I liked:
“We just returned from a honeymoon at the Aleenta, and it was wonderful. We booked the Pool Suite, which was a private bungalow on the beach with a private jacuzzi. The resort is divided into two parts, ours had the restaurant, and the Frangileela side had the large swimming pool. The place is very small, very private, and 30 minutes south of Hua Hin. This is where you go to just get away - bring lots of books and sunblock. The staff was very helpful, and we couldn't have asked for more.”
What the hotel could do better:
“The Aleenta is actually in Pranburi, 30 minutes south of Hua Hin. This means it's more like 3.5 hours from Bangkok by car, but it's not a tough drive, just long. It also means, if you want to go into Hua Hin, it's 30 minutes, but Hua Hin's pretty small, and the only reason to go, in my opinion, would be to try other restaurants. If you're only here for a few days, then you can just set up camp at the Aleenta and enjoy yourself.”

What I liked:
“The staff were excellent and immensely friendly and the peace and serenity of the location were divine.
Food was good and the beach deserted - perfect for a totally relaxing stay.
Rooms of a good standard and right on the beach.”

What I liked:
“This is one of the few places I've been to where my wife and I felt instantly relaxed as soon as we arrived at the resort. It has a chic and simple contemporary design but still manages to be cosy and rustic. Staff are low key while still attentive and professional. Breakfast was sensational and although we dined at the restaurant for lunch and dinner a couple of times, we ate out at the nearby local restaurants which was fun and easy.”
What the hotel could do better:
“Really nothing to dislike. We are already looking forward to visiting this place again sometime next year.”

What I liked:
“Basically the whole feel of the place was very soothing as its facing the beach & its nice to see that the hotel have different wings. The staff are very friendly & helpful & informative. Food by chef was good & so was the breakfast. The immediate attention by the staff put a smile in our face & the aroma of the essential oil was so good. The daily activities provided by the hotel are great too.”
What the hotel could do better:
“Due to the fact that the hotel has been around for some time. I feel that it needs some immediate attention as when I first stepped into my room, there was a very unpleasant smell which came from the bathroom. It is due to the flushing system & the toilet bowl cant be flushed well at all. The tap is rusty & water is yellow. The aroma oil does help partly to cover off the stinky smell but it isnt enough. So i would strongly suggest that they would carry out some upgrading plans so as to keep the hotel as welcoming as it looks on the outside.”
