    What I liked:

“Loved the room (we stayed in Room One) and the small hotel restaurant was great. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean and comfortable.”

What the hotel could do better:

“The beach is just a few steps from the front door, but it's not very big and I can't imagine spending any time there. The rooftop hotel pool is nice and Room One has a pool- I imagine most people hang out there and not on the beach.”

    What I liked:

“This hotel is always nice. The staff are very accommodating, the rooms are very cool. With only 5 rooms, you never feel crowded.”

What the hotel could do better:

“The furniture in the hotel is starting to show some wear and tear. This was our 3rd stay over the past year. A little maintenance is needed.

We will not be going back. The reason for that is that we have a small (teacup size) dog. Dune does not allow pets.”

    What I liked:

“We cannot say enough about this truly fantastic hotel--indeed, the atmosphere, service, rooms, and food were flawless. Dune is a new hotel (with only five rooms, but multiple stories and a rooftop pool), beachfront, and is owned and managed by a wonderful Thai family. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and the small rooftop restaurant is also available to cook a scrumptious lunch and dinner for its guests (our favorite meals of the Thailand trip were at this little restaurant--particularly the fresh watermelon "frappes", the spicy chicken curry on wonton chips, and the lobster cashew curry). The rooms include wireless internet and an i-pod surround-sound system, with speakers in the bathroom and the lanai. We spent New Year's Eve at the rooftop pool, where the owners served us Veuve Cliquot champagne and we could see the fireworks over the ocean and throughout Hua Hin. We cannot wait to return!”

What the hotel could do better:

“Nothing--this was a perfect experience, and we wholeheartedly recommend Dune to anyone.”

    What I liked:

“It is a very stylish & hip looking hotel. And practically it has only five rooms...everything is very personalized & the place is quiet which I feel adds on to the beauty of it. The bathroom is amazing with a very clean & beautiful bathtub which is all i need. The small little details in their selection of interior are nice. The book area on level one is nice. You can spend a whole afternoon there..lazing around reading.”

What the hotel could do better:

“Breakfast was ordinary. There was slight difficulty in communicating with the staff at the reception as they dont really understand english very well. But besides that, all was good. I would come back again.”
