  3. James the Wanderer

    What I liked:

“The rooms were very nice. They were spacious and very well outfitted. Also, the concierges were outstanding. You should use them to get the inside track on everything in the city.”

What the hotel could do better:

“The housekeeping service left a lot to be desired. Something went missing from my room. I know that I should have locked it away. But it was a £15 item. The inconvenience of buying a replacement was greater. Also, they came for the laundry during a teleconference when I had the Do Not Disturb light on. So, I had to stop talking to stop the bell from ringing. Finally, the follow ups to my communications to them about these issues have all been strange. Not once has any one apologized. In fact, they asked in an automated email if I could recommend them to our purchasing director. Clearly, they need to improve their processes for handling feed back.”

    What I liked:

“Sleek and modern design. Roomy bathroom. Comfortable beds.”

What the hotel could do better:

“Make the doors soundproof (terribly loud in the morning and could hear every word and bang of guests and service staff in the hallways).”
