“My brief and unexpected trip to Marrakech came as a welcoming and much needed surprise when I walked in to Terre Resort and Spa. After a stressful two days in the city center of Marrakech in a trendy but not to comforting bed and breakfast the resort was a true oasis.
I had read the reviews before making my booking and hence the reason for my two days at another property. This was not my first trip to Morocco or Marrakech. I was glad I booked at this resort and was able to salvage my much needed getaway at the end.
Yes you can say the resort is a bit secluded but a plus from the chaos and the noise of the city. The staff was great and the service was hospitable. I had dinner at the hotel and it was very refreshing and well priced. I also had breakfast and it was plentiful. The food and amenities offered over all were exquisite. I also took in a spa treatment which was offered to me as a tablet guest complimentary, it was completely unexpected and very relaxing.
I travel a lot and like to share my opinion with others, my over all experience was worth the value and would recommend the resort to anyone that wants to experience Marrakech in a convenient manner.

What I liked:
“Posizione molto tranquilla, distante dalla Medina. L'hotel offre calma e servizio di buon livello. Anche le camere sono spaziose e molto tranquille. Personale in media molto disponibile.”
What the hotel could do better:
“Forse perchè nuovo, il servizio pare non essere ancora al 100% a posto. Sembra a volte che non ci siano delle routines di lavoro definite e risultano essere quindi un po' improvvisate. Anche il ristorante, di buon livello, offre sempre i soliti piatti (in una settimana di soggiorno non è mai cambiato il menu).
Per essere un hotel a 5 stelle, ritengo che alcuni dettagli non siano adeguati (prima colazione, servizio in camera,...).
Altro punto forse negativo per alcuni è la distanza dal centro città. Se da un lato rappresenta un vantaggio che assicura quiete e relax, dall'altro occorre prenotare sempre un taxi attraverso l'hotel per poter raggiungere la Medina. Il costo è di circa 15 EUR a tratta.”

“the hotel atmosphere was tranquil and peaceful, and the design was great. Staff were good too and gave plenty of attention to our little baby.”
What the hotel could do better:
“ The quality of workmanship seemed a little poor and in some places seemed unfinished, such as bare brickwork and poor tiling in places. there was also a slight problem with mosquitoes but insect repellant is placed in every room.
Also,ordering a taxi sometimes took a while as it it is slightly out of the way”

“I liked that it was such a private place, with a great attention to service, large suites, spacious bathrooms were you can lay your own stuff, ample space everywere, pool scene excellent and food just perfect, liked the relationship with the staff as they make you feel at home, managed to make my own martini behind the bar as if it was my home..loved that!”
What the hotel could do better:
“Maybe the transport, you have to make early arrangements and make sure you check again, as the hotel was quite full during my stay, and one has to keep in mind , we are in Africa.. and time has a different meaning ...”

“Everything! The service was the best I've ever experienced, the staff was so nice and helpful. The grounds, rooms and restaurant were beautiful and well kept. I would stay there again, next time I want to stay longer.”
