    What I liked:

“This is pretty much the best it gets in Mumbai. The history and location of the hotel are excellent. As I was there on business I wanted to be able to access all Mumbai had to offer in 1 day. The pool is beautiful, the ambiance decadent.”

What the hotel could do better:

“Maybe not as high end as I would have expected but you have to remember that this is India and when put into context, an excellent hotel.”

    What I liked:

“The Taj Mahal was on the last leg of our 5 week trip from Tokyo, London,

Nice, Barcelona, Lake Como, Florence, etc to Mumbai and I must say that this was a great experience. The service was excellent, restaurants were great.

    What I liked:

“The peronal-touch service; the down to the detail room facility (they even equiped cellphone charger, for all makes!); the ambience and decor.”

What the hotel could do better:

“Dine at restaurants can be rather pricey, but u are dining at the palace, expect to pay extra than anywhere else.... P.S. Do have a reality-check before you step out of hotel, it is a different WORLD!”

    What I liked:

“Amazing views and location - this is where British dignitaries used to arrive in India

Peaceful comfortable rooms when the city outside is going nuts

Fine restaurants - the top floor middle eastern is especially good”

What the hotel could do better:

“The pool seems to be on the way to a conference centre so you feel a bit of a twit making your way past delegates in a dressing gown”
