  4. MM

    What I liked:

“I grew up in Munich and this place was one of the great hotels. I always wanted to stay. It's located in the heart of Munich.”

What the hotel could do better:

“What a glum, unpleasant hotel. Deperately needs a facelift. I usually fall for old school charm and have a distaste for these over designed new hotels my room was near moldy with 1980's electronics and an overly soft bed. But most disappointing was the staff. Non of the usual Bavarian charm. In fact they wouldn't know charm if you hit them over the head with it. Not that they were rude. Just completely disinterested. One would do better in a local "Pension" at half the price with similar rooms and location and maybe even a smile when you walk in through the door.”
