What I liked:
“Very nice room, wonderfully comfortable bed, helpful and accomodating staff and a gloriously secluded location.
We went to Nantucket to relax and unwind, and we certainly achieved our goals.”
What the hotel could do better:
“The Wauwinet is a lovely hotel, but it was just a little on the too-posh/claustrophobic side for our taste. However, others may be seduced by the intimacy of the place, and I think it's very much a personal-preference thing rather than a fault of the hotel.
The Wauwinet would really benefit from better provision of fitness facilities for those who don't want to run on the beach or risk their lives running along Wauwinet Road. At the time of our stay there was one room with two pieces of cardio equipment and it was a bit of a pain having to go and ask the staff to open it up, etc.”
