What I liked:
“The room was great, sleek white decor. Great overhead shower; nice hammock on the balcony.
Staff was helpful in suggesting places to go, eat etc.
Lounge was fun. Great ambiance, reminds me of the Downtown Standard in LA.
I'd get a drink here, but would not stay here again due to noise issues.”
What the hotel could do better:
“The noise was incredible. Lounge was somewhat noisy (I had a balcony room, I cannot imagine the din from the rooms that didn't have balconies as they have a glass wall to the pool/lounge. It does turn into a nightclub in the evening.
The worst noise was at 5 am every morning I got woken up by people leaving a disco down the side street and shouting/singing as they exited. The hotel provided earplugs, but....”

What I liked:
“The location is great - the hotel is fun and the service is excellent. Great pool and bar.After a couple of nights we moved to try out the sister hotel - Hotel Basico. Hotel Basico is outstanding. Both hotels are very friendly, relaxing, modern and hip. I highly recommend either hotel for a great stay.”

“Stylish, clean and well located. The staff was friendly, hip and helpful. I also loved the Kiehl's bath products.”
What the hotel could do better:
“The rooms are a bit small. It is VERY loud at night. The DESEO Lounge music plays until about 2 AM and ear plugs don't help.”

“very good location (close to beach and bars/nightclubs), very fun/cool atmosphere an decor, nice pool area, great included breakfast, good music/dj at night.”
