    What I liked:

“I liked the location, the parking, and really appreciated the chocolate cake the staff prepared for our anniversary.”

What the hotel could do better:

“While the room and facilities were excellent, I have stayed in other hotels with similar rooms for about 1/3 the price. I opened the hotel room door expecting to have my socks knocked off, but found myself underwhelmed by the clean, yet, given the rate, modest room. Perhaps this review shouldn't be taken very seriously because I didn't take advantage of hotel's obvious potential. But much thanks for a pleasant stay!”

    What I liked:

“It's very fun and edgy looking hotel but not just with a nice pretty face - the staff and servies are just as good + friendly and we are so thrilled and amazed!!!!

Must try the restaurant too - The Kitchen. We enjoyed so much of the Special Sunday brunch there which include pass-around menu of 7 delicious plates and the chef with his team will keep cooking in the open kitchen (like a show room and they really worked nicely as a team) for deliverying the freshly cooked plates to your table. Absolutely good quality food, wide selection/range of choices even at the salad & seafood bars, and the pass-around menu so cooked with heart and good presentation - want to especially thank the chef on this!

The bed matress is very good support. Shower with perfect pressure (we stayed on 11th floor)

Even after service is good. I left a pair of trainer in the room and it was meant to be dumped. I did not put in the waste basket and leave it at the threshold in the room. W contacted Tablet for an e-mail to me informing me of what they found and inquiring if I need them back and can arrange to send them back to me in HK. It was just this kind of consideration and thoughtfullness - really appreciate this sort of detail in the service!”

What the hotel could do better:

“Only the A/C somehow, I think not very sensitive. Maybe to do with the lcoation of the A/C outlet, so the room Temp. not very consistent in one corner or the other - I need to switch to 21 degree C to feel a normal comfortable room temp but in other hotels with 21 degree, I'd be freezing already.

Also, location is quite far from the city centre/happening, but still worth to stay here for a night or so to try out!”

    What I liked:

“Impressive already from the outside, beautifully positioned on top of green Walker Hill with commanding views of the Han river and Seoul's skyline. The service is superb, everyone is extremely attentive and charming. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely designed, though the 'cool corner' rooms - even if spacious and funky with the round beds - could be improved upon in terms of functionality.”

What the hotel could do better:

“The overpriced services the hotel offers. It is normal for such a hotel to charge prices for food and drinks that are higher than the average outside. It is absurd to charge prices that are up to 10 times higher than what you would pay in the city. It kills the pleasure of spending a whole day working or lazying in your room as the W lies ca. 10 minutes away from the nearest shops/ restaurants.”

    What I liked:

“A very trendy and stylish hotel with an attractive group of clients clustering around the premise. The room is very comfortable and spacious with minimalist design. The staff are very friendly and have good command in English”

What the hotel could do better:

“The shuttle bus can be rather packed with casino staff and grumpy gamblers during the weekend. The underground station closest to the hotel is almost 25-30 minutes away from the major tourist spots and attractions in Seoul.”
