    What I liked:

“The service at this hotel was impeccable. We stayed in one of the cottages near the airfield. The room was large and the addition of a kitchenette and two private patios made our stay perfectly relaxing. The hotel offers mountain bikes for guests and provides a map of different routes. I highly recommend this hotel... an excellent value for the quality and service.”

What the hotel could do better:

“We arrived early and were not able to access our room for two hours.”

    What I liked:

“The owner was excellent and you were made to feel at home from the point of arrival - nothing was too much trouble.

We flew in ourselves so the runway by the cottages where we could see our plane from the front door was amazing and one of the big decisions behind this choice. Our expectations were surpassed and we will definitely come back again.”

What the hotel could do better:

    “Nothing; Had a wonderful stay!”

    What I liked:

“location and intimate nature of the property”

What the hotel could do better:

“we were booked in one of their 5 cottages. the cottages are individual hotel rooms entered through a patio sliding glass door. they are relatively new construction and look like they could be part of a vacation condominium. they have an outdoor grill and patio furniture, and two rather rusty bicycles which - in our case - had flat tires. they are not located on the main property. they are located on a WWII era landing strip a few hundred meters away from the main property (essentially down the street) and are entered through a separate gate. it's all rather strange and isolated. the main building is almost too far to walk, and the walk would not be particularly interesting and would require you to open and pass thru two electric gates (there is a an electronic remote on each room key, along with a rather heavy leather pouch filled with sand). the internet was unusually expensive and the wifi did not work in the cottages.”
