The room was really spacious and had large privat terrace with marvelous view.
All services were just perfect!
Especially good surprice was the free 24h shuttleservice to St.Tropez center and to the pampellone beaches.”

What I liked:
“The service was outstanding and the staff were friendly and helpful. We are not HIGH ROLLERS -- this was our trip of a lifetime and the staff at the Hotel made us feel SO SPECIAL!!!!!! Not a word of a lie --- some things were prepared BEFORE we asked for them.
I am starting to save so that we can return”

What I liked:
“The setting and public spaces are beautiful and beautifully maintained. If you want to enjoy St. Tropez, but be able to escape the crowds, it also offers the perfect location. But read below and you'll understand why I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.”
What the hotel could do better:
“The room was beyond small, it couldn't have been more than 18sq meters. My partner and I could not pass each other walking around the bed - that's how small it was. I asked if there was another room, possibly a little bigger, and was met with the DEATH STARE, I have never stayed at a luxury hotel where the manager would not try to do something to address an unhappy guest.
The bathroom, though visually attractive is another big disappointment. The shower head did not work properly, and anyone over 8-years-old will have trouble squeezing into the bathtub. (I am 5 foot 9 inches tall and 175 pounds, so I am not a giant by any means).
Every request -- a dinner reservation, directions, whatever -- was met with either ineptitude or hostility. Over five nights I went from being passively annoyed at the hotel to actively hating it. All the staff was talking about how bad business is this year due to the recession, yet the hotel acted as if they didn't really need or even want your business. I guess they consider it a privilege to stay there, I sure don't.
Do yourself and your traveling companions a favor, and stay somewhere else. The Massardiere does not deserve your hard-earned money.”
