“The location of Berns if fantastic - perfectly situated near shops, restaurants and the water. Although the rooms are sparsely decorated (Swedish design aesthetic) they are very comfortable (beds were fantastic) and the staff is helpful and professional. The concierge recommended some fantastic restaurants (he got us reservations at one of the top restaurants same day), the hotel is beautiful, their restaurant was excellent (breakfast included was a big plus) and they also had some top entertainment booked at the hotel during our stay.”

“Excellent restaurant onsite - delicious Japanese. Also breakfast was included each morning, which was fantastic. The location of the Berns is perfect - couldn't be any better. Loved the park outside of our hotel. The rooms were a bit small, but that is often the case in Europe. I would give the staff an 8 out of 10 - pretty helpful when approached, but not going out of their way. Overall though, we were pleased.”

“We really enjoyed our stay and after 2 weeks of camping, the beautiful rooms and bathrooms were even more enjoyable. The reception staff were extremely helpful and kind without the haughtiness that you sometimes find in designer or boutique hotels. The room was smaller than expected but the facilities and furniture design were very good. The hotel was in an excellent location close to the water and the 'nice end' of Stockholm.”

“Rooms were small, but well thought-out and contained nearly everything needed to have a comfortable stay (with the exception of an ironing board and iron which was quickly remedied with one call to Housekeeping). Friendly, professional service at the front desk -- the first room I checked into was a smoking room with an awful view -- when I inquired about a non-smoking room at the front desk I was immediately assigned another room (with a better view as well). The breakfast that is included in the room price is excellent -- lots of variety, served in the hotel's bistro and/or patio, pleasant waitstaff. The location can't be beat -- it was within walking distance of most of the main tourist sights, shopping, restaurants, etc.”

“There are not that many hotels in Stockholm that would fit the 'boutique' description. Berns Hotel certainly does. It's small, there's an atmosphere of privacy throughout the whole placeand if you want a taste of the Stockholm nightlife, it's certainly giving you a run for you money as the Berns' nightclub is so packed the Fire Dept. would object about it.”
